So, we were walking down the boulevard the other day, policing our territory, looking for a payday loan to thrash against the wall, and someone had the gall to come up to Little Johnny Jermain and ask him what makes you a payday punk? Well, we showed that guy good - took out a quick payday loan, bought some laxatives and the rest is history. But it got us thinking - what really makes a Payday Punk? Its not just taking out quick payday loans to take care of our sudden financial emergencies, and its not necessarily fighting against the payday system tat forces us all into payday advance loan dependency.

The pure Payday Punk

We figured out that a Payday Punk is anyone who is fed up with the fast payday loan system over all but is just too dang lazy to do anything about it. I mean, we're punks, right? We believe in all kinds of stuff but there is no way you're gonna get us to stand up against our hated enemies.

The perfect punk will continually have a hard time making their finances work from one payday to the next.
And we'll yell about it - we'll tell the whole world just how bad a quick payday loan really is for our financial health and how it ruins our families one after the other.
Then we'll apply for our own quick payday loan, take care of business, and keep on living our own hypocritical existence until the end of time (or until the Sex Pistols come in town, then we all take out whatever quick payday loan we can get our hands on and sleep for days in line at the theater).

So, the perfect payday punk will be poor, smart, but too lazy to do anything about it - too lazy even to apply for a quick faxless payday loan. Oh yeah, that sounds about right, just the type of person who would fight the good cash payday loan for no better reason than a fight is there. Like a true punk, a real piece of work, a degenerate sloth in the chain of command.

Sure being a Punk doesn't make any sense, but neither does accessing your paychecks early - a quick payday - and neither does paying 10 times your annual income for a home purchase. But thats just the reality of the times, and until we all start dealing in shells and berries once again the quick payday loan is gonna remain a part of Punk
